Christmas 2017

We love Christmas Day at home.  We get up - and wake up Beau -and then we open our presents while Mom sips her coffee.  Ribbie always goes first. Then the kids. Then us parents.  Then as the kids pickup their mess, I go upstairs and make us a big breakfast. The rest of the day we spend playing with new toys or games, and putting things away. We stay in PJ's, and then we anxiously await our Chinese food for dinner! ha ha. What a fun tradition that has become. It was a great day together for sure!

Christmas in McPherson

Christmas in McPherson was also a success!  Fun day of food, fellowship and presents!  We enjoyed our soup and sandwiches and pretty much snacked all day. It was perfect. I think the kids enjoyed their treasures also.

Christmas in Garber

Well, we thought a sickness in the Texas family was going to derail us, but it didn't. And we had a great time. Everyone came home and we enjoyed the day together. Gone are the days with little ones running around. We have a lot of adult kids now!

Love our time together. It always goes by too fast. I did snap a few pics this time. I got stuck passing out gifts, so I didn't have many of the kids opening them, but at least we got some pic's after.

Brenley and her pogo stick

She had to have this pogo stick, and was super frustrated with it because it was hard to learn how to do to make it work.  But this day. This day, she mastered it.  "Mom, I just needed a flat smooth surface!"

Brenley's Music / Piano Recital

Brenley played in her first music recital with Garten's Music. She could have sang or played the piano and she chose to play the piano. She played two songs. We were SO PROUD of her! She did amazing.  Loved watching her perform!
