Ran up to Minnesota for some weekend fun!
Mom got some awards at her sales meeting.
Beau celebrated his 15th birthday a week before school started. Yep, 15!
And the 2018/2019 school year started! Last year of elementary school for Sis. Can’t believe that she is a 5th grader! Beau started his Sophomore year. Just unbelievable.
Why yes, I did have to throw this one in for effect. Feels like they are still this age in my head.
New school year means Brenley started Band, and the Trombone is her instrument of choice. She is loving it and getting quite good!
Beau started football and was on the JV squad. He did get in for one Varsity game - we were very excited!
We celebrated Donuts with Mom (at the donut shop and not at school - per my student), and Ribbie’s 4th birthday!!!
Brenley May broke her arm. She tripped over some bags we had laying at the bottom of the stairs. She was only trying to help me contain Ribbie in an area of the house, and she fell just right when she tripped. I waited two days before I took her to the doctor. I just couldn’t imagine she broke it. She is so tough! Believe it or not, this was the family’s first broken bone. She handled it all like a champ.
And last, but not least, on September 29th, Beau received his restricted license and began driving to school that following Monday. Holy smokes. It’s official. We are old. We even bought him his own ride. It’s been bittersweet not being able to spend time with him while driving him around, but it’s also been nice not driving him around!
