Her behavior is also been tremendous and because of that she has gotten a few special awards. One of which is she gets to eat lunch in the classroom and pick a friend to eat with her. This was her second time doing this, and she chose her friend Brody from another classroom. She has known Brody from Northridge days. Brody's Mom is currently battling cancer so she thought her friend needed something special done for him. She has a heart of gold.
Now, don't get me wrong......she will turn on you and the evil with spew as her stubborness and independence rear their head. BUT......her good and great far outweigh her outbursts. She will be a challenge, no doubt. My main concern is that we instill in her the confidence that she needs to speak to others even with her stutter. That she knows it's okay to be smarter than other girls and boys. That it's okay to like to build things and create things with your hands....and not play dress up with dolls. She is an amazing mind. Can't wait to keep cultivating her interests and see where she goes.
