Easter 2012 in Oklahoma

So I've been sifting through the pictures of Easter Sunday trying to narrow down which ones I will show on this blog post, but when you are celebrating a baptism (Jordan), the meaning of Easter, running in Egg hunts, and celebrating a first birthday.....it is hard to pick only a few pictures!

We went to Oklahoma bright and early Easter Sunday so we could attend Troy and Lori's church and witness our niece, Jordan get baptized in the name of Christ our Savior. Then we went to Troy and Lori's for lunch and fellowship. Followed by a really fun Egg hunt (two heats; 5 and under division and over 5 division), then Egg confetti smashing (which was a blast), followed by a little birthday party for our nephew Ryan, who doesn't technically turn 1 until later this month, but we were all together and decided to take advantage of it. Whew! What a full - fun - day!

It was a great holiday, and as always, goes by way to fast. Enjoy these precious pictures!
Getting Easter Egg Hunt instructions.  On your mark, set....

Go!

Age 5 and Under Division

My guy, hunting for eggs, making sure no one missed any.
This is the egg cracking party.  Confetti eggs cracked on each other's heads. FUN!
Just a series of pretty Brenley shots with my amazing camera and a pretty background.

Ryan, liking his Easter egg and candy.

He thought sitting on Courtney's feet was fun.

My girl. Still pretty.

"The Crew" and while I took probably 15 shots, this was the best one I got, and Beau still has his eyes shut. Oh well. At least everyone is looking at the camera. That was a plus.

Their silly shot. This is so them.

This too.

Sweet boy Carter opening his eggs to find his goodies.

Party outside for baby Ryan!  Here he goes!

Hmm.....not so sure what I have gotten myself into.

But I don't think I like it.  Someone get this off of my hands!

Get it off now!!! (note the cute space between his front teeth!)

These two were funny together and super cute.

Might be my favorite shot of the day. Love this one. Looks like cousins are telling secrets.

And now they are officially up to something.

Ryan is now clean and tearing into his presents.

Sweet baby. Where has the year gone?
