Again, this high school thing is new yo us, but we are trying to keep up. The first formal dance of the year is the Sno Ball dance held in December where the girl asks the guy. And since the "proposal" part where you are asked is just as important as the dance.....we got to experience that too. I guess Beau and his data (Breanna) had talked about this beforehand and he knew he was going with her, but until she came over to ask him was it "official." So here's a pic of that - again - had to steal this picture since he would not allow us to even meet this girl. Yep. That's correct. We NEVER met her until the night of the dance, and even then, I was the only one. We are an embarrassment. His words, not mine.
Sine the dance was led by the girls, the boys went with them and their friends. So this was the group that Beau went with. He knew the boys, but wasn't super close with them, but he knew them well enough to be comfortable. We dropped Beau off at another girls house where they met up. They took pictures, ate dinner, and then were dropped off at the dance, and then we picked up Beau from the dance. We also picked up Beau's other friend and they ended up spending the night at Keaton's house. So I at least got to snap a pic of Beau and his best bud, Keaton. So handsome.
